Important Information
Child & Safety Guidelines
- Waterfall Supervision: The limestone at Buatong Waterfall is naturally non-slippery (“sticky”), making it much safer to climb than regular waterfalls. However, rocks can still have unexpected surfaces. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while climbing.
- Canopy Walk Safety: The treetop walkway at the Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden is fully enclosed with high safety netting on both sides, making it completely safe for children.
Dress Code & Cultural Respect
- Temple Attire: When visiting Wat Ban Den, both adults and children should dress respectfully. Shoulders and knees must be covered. We recommend wearing lightweight pants, long skirts, or bringing a sarong/shawl to wrap around yourself before entering temple buildings.
- Waterfall Gear: Please pack swimwear, a beach towel, and a complete change of dry clothes for the family. While you can climb barefoot, we highly recommend bringing strapped water shoes or sports sandals for the best grip and comfort.
Tour Flexibility & Pace
- 100% Private: Because this is a private tour, the itinerary timing is entirely flexible. If your kids get tired or want to spend more time splashing at the waterfall, simply let your guide know so they can adjust the day’s pace for you.
- Optional Lunch: Lunch is not included in the baseline tour price. Your guide will take you to a local restaurant cluster near the waterfall where you can choose and pay for meals that perfectly fit your family’s dietary preferences.
