Itinerary

Pick up from hotel or airport or train station in the city area of Chiangmai (before 10:00 a.m.)

 

Transfer to visit Warorot market by private transport. Explore and observe the local way of life around the famous local market in Chiangmai. Continue to visit Doi Suthep temple, the famous temple located on Suthep mountain. Enjoy the view of Chiangmai city from the temple and learn some history of the temple and Chiangmai from local guide.

 

Have an optional lunch and transfer to visit Wat Chedi Luang, the famous temple in the old town of Chiangmai. Continue to visit Chiangmai City Arts and Cultural Center and the Three Kings monument. Transfer to hotel in the city area of Chiangmai by private transport. Optional to visit Chiangmai night market and optional dinner.

Pick up from hotel in Chiangmai at 07:00 a.m. Transfer to Doi Intanont National park by private transport (drive about 1.5 – 2 hours). Visit Mae Ya Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfall in Thailand. 

Transfer to visit the highest point of Thailand and enjoy walking along the famous nature trail “Angka”. Then transfer to visit the famous Royal Twin pagodas, the famous attraction of Doi Intanont with the beautiful view and garden.

Have an optional lunch and continue to visit Baan Mae Klang Luang, the Karen village. Explore the village and observe the local way of life of the local people. Optional for trekking to Pha Dok Siao waterfall

Return to hotel in Chiangmai, have an optional dinner.

Pick up from hotel in Chiangmai at 08:00 a.m. Transfer to Chiang Rai by private transport (drive about 3 hours). Visit Chiang Rai’s Hot spring, and continue to Wat Rong Koon or White Temple, the famous attraction of Chiang Rai which built and paint in White Color.

Transfer to visit Visit the Blue temple or Wat Rong Suer Ten, another famous temple with the beautiful sculpture related to Buddhism which all painted in Blue color. Transfer to hotel in Chiang Rai, have an optional dinner. 

Have an optional lunch and then visit Baan Dam Museum. Enjoy walking around the private art museum comprising a mixture of traditional Northern Thai buildings and unconventional and contemporary architecture designed by the famous artist “Mr. Thawan Datchanee”. 

Transfer to hotel in Chiang Rai for check in. Optional to visit Chiang Rai night market by local public transport and optional dinner.

Pick up from hotel in Chiang Rai at 08:00 a.m. Transfer by private transport to visit Mae Sai market, the famous market at the border between Thailand and Myanmar. Continue to Golden Triangle in Chiang Saen district, the border area among Thailand, Myanmar and Laos (drive about 1 hour). The area used to be the opium trading area which once used gold for trading which then the area was called Golden Triangle.

Enjoy the private boat tour along Mekong river, view the way of life of local people and the temple around 45 minutes. Have an optional lunch and then visit Hall of opium, learn about the history of opium which used to be traded in Golden Triangle in the past. 

Transfer to visit Wat Phra That Pha Ngao, the famous temple in Chiang Saen. Return to hotel in Chiang Rai by private transport. Optional to visit night market by local public transport and have an optional dinner.
