Si Thep, UNESCO World Heritage site with Khao Yai and Ayutthaya (3 days)

Pick up from hotel in Bangkok at 06:00 a.m. Transfer to visit Khao Yai National park by private transport (car or minivan or minibus). Visit Khao Yai National park, UNESCO World Heritage site, which covers more than 2,000 square kilometers of forest and grassland.

Enjoy the great view at the famous viewpoint of Khao Yai National park. Visit Haew Suwat waterfall, the famous waterfall in Khao Yai. The waterfall is famous from American movie name “The Beach”. This waterfall has a stream falling from the cliff of about 20 meters high. At the bottom of the waterfall is a basin and stream. Walk (around 900 meters) to visit Nong Phak Chi, wildlife observation tower. Enjoy your time watching the wildlife animal at the tower, possible to see the hornbills, gibbons, bull, barking deers or even elephants and etc. during the visit. 

Transfer to hotel in Khao Yai by private transport. Optional to watch bats fly out of the cave in the evening. Optional dinner at local restaurant or at the hotel.

Travelers need to walk down the stairways around 120 steps to the waterfall.

Pick up from hotel in Khao Yai at 08:00 a.m. Transfer to Sri Thep Historical site and World Heritage site in 2023 (drive about 2.5 hours). Visit Sri Thep Historical park and UNESCO World Heritage site in 2023. Si Thep Historical park is an archaeological site located in Petchabun province of Thailand. It covers the ancient city of Si Thep, a site inhabited from around the third to fifth century until the thirteenth century, spanning cultural periods from late prehistory, through Dvaravati to the golden age of the Khmer Empire. Enjoy your time observing and learning about the history of the historical park, the sculpture as well as visiting the famous sites inside the historical park such as Khao Khlang Nai, the Buddhist sanctuary and Prang Si Thep, the ancient stupa which built in Khmer architectural style. 

Continue to visit Ayutthaya, UNESCO World Heritage site (drive about 3 hours). And transfer to hotel in Ayutthaya.

Transfer by local Tuk Tuk from hotel in Ayutthaya to visit the famous Wat Phra Sri Sanphet in Ayutthaya Historical park. The temple used to be the royal chapel during Ayutthaya Kingdom period which connected to the ancient royal palace.

Continue to visit Wat Mahathat, the ancient Buddhist temple located in the center of Ayutthaya Historical park. The highlights of the temple are the main stupa and the head of Buddha image inside the tree root. Then visit the famous local dessert shop “Roti Saimai or Cotton candy” by Tuk Tuk. And enjoy private small boat tour around Ayutthaya Historical park (about 1 hour). Enjoy viewing the local houses, temples and way of life of people along the river on the boat. 

Have an optional lunch at local restaurant. Then transfer by private air conditioned transport to visit Wat Chaiwattanaram, the famous temple of Ayutthaya. Explore the temple and optional to rent the traditional Thai costume for photo taking at the temple. Transfer to Bangkok by private transport (drive about 1.5 – 2 hours), arrive Bangkok around 16:00 p.m.
