Itinerary

Important note :

  • Not suitable with people with heart problems or other serious medical condition or low fitness level

Pick up from airport in Bangkok. Transfer to hotel in Bangkok by private car transport with tour guide. 

Optional to visit Chinatown, World Best street food area in 2017 or have an optional dinner at the local restaurant.

Remarks : Hotel check in start from 14:00 p.m.

Have an included breakfast at hotel. Transfer to visit Grand Palace and Temple of Emerald Buddha by local public transport e.g. Boat, Bus, City train, Tuk Tuk or Taxi. Visit the magnificent palace and royal chapel which was built since 1783 A.D. which is official used for the importance ceremony until nowadays. 

Enjoy the private canal tour by long tail boat for about an hour, the boat will go through the canal of Bangkok in the west side called “Klong Bang Luang”. Enjoy sightseeing on the boat, view the local people houses, temples as well as beautiful buddha image along the canal. 

Have an optional lunch at the local restaurant. Then visit Wat Arun or Temple of Dawn, which regarded one of the landmarks of Bangkok. The highlight of the temple is the main tower or locally called “Prang” constructed in the early 19th century. Cross the river to visit Wat Pho or Temple of Reclining Buddha, which enshrined the most beautiful Reclining Buddha image in Thailand. The temple also regarded the first public university of Thailand that teach traditional Thai medical science or Thai massage. Then transfer to hotel by public transport, have an optional dinner.

Remarks : 
1. Please dress properly when visit Grand Palace and temples. Sleeveless shirts with scarfs, shorts, legging or ripped pants are not allowed.
2. Please bring Sun lotion, hats and some amount of Thai Baht cash

Have an included breakfast at hotel in Bangkok and check out. Transfer to Ayutthaya, UNESCO World Heritage site by private car transport (drive about 2 hours). Visit Wat Mahathat, the important temple in the center of Ayutthaya Historical Park. The highlights of the temple are the head of Buddha image inside tree root and the main great Prang which used to contain the relics of the lord Buddha. 

Then visit Wat Phanun Choeng, the famous and active Buddhist temple which enshrine the most beautiful Golden Buddha “Luang Por To”. Have an optional lunch at local restaurant.

Continue to visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet which used to be the royal palace and chapel of the kings in Ayutthaya period from the mid 14th to 18th century which is also the prototype of Grand Palace and Temple of Emerald Buddha in Bangkok. Enjoy private small boat tour around Ayutthaya Historical park (about 1 hour).

Have an optional dinner and transfer to hotel in Ayutthaya for check in.

Have an included breakfast at hotel in Ayutthaya and check out. Transfer by private transport to Nakorn Sawan (means City of Heaven) around 2 hours. Visit Pasarn, the famous landmark and the area which is the starting point of Chao Phraya river, the most important river in Thailand. Continue driving about 2.5 hours to Phitsanuloke province, visit Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat (found in the mid 14th century) where you can see one of the most beautiful golden buddha image in Thailand “Phra Phuttha Chinnarat”, enshrined inside the hall of the temple. 

Have an optional lunch at the local restaurant. Transfer to Sukhothai, UNESCO World Heritage site (drive about 1 hour), visit Sukhothai Historical park. Enjoy riding bicycle or use tram for tour around the historical park which used to be capital of Sukhothai Kingdom in the past (mid 13th – 15th century). Inside the historical park, you can see many historical temples and learn the history which is the beginning of Kingdom of Thailand (Thai language was developed from Sukhothai Kingdom era). Transfer to hotel in Sukhothai for check in. Have an optional dinner.

Remarks : Sukhothai is regarded the 1st capital city of Thailand. Now people in the city live simple life but with happiness. The facilities and accommodation will not be the same as in Bangkok and main tourist attraction sites.

Have an included breakfast at hotel. Transfer to visit Sri Satchanalai Historical park (City of good people), UNESCO World Heritage site by private transport. Enjoy the bicycle or tram ride and visit the important temples around the historical park such as Wat Chang Lom, Wat Mahathat Chaliang and many more.

Have an optional lunch at the local restaurantThen transfer to visit Baan Na Ton Chan, the lovely village in Sri Satchanalai district. Enjoy the cart ride around the village and learn some local way of life. Return to hotel in Sukhothai and have an optional dinner. Optional for bicycle tour.

Remarks : Sri Satchanalai is the city that was found in 1250 A.D. and regarded the second center in Sukhothai Kingdom era which was the residence of the Sukhothai’s Crown prince during 13th – 14th centuries.

Have an included breakfast at hotel in Sukhothai and check out. Transfer by private transport to visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, the famous ancient Lanna style Buddhist temple in Lampang province (drive about 2.5 hours). The highlight of the temple is the great chedi in the center of the temple which built around 14th century.

Continue driving about 3.5 hours to Chiangrai, the by private car transport. Have an optional lunch and transfer to visit the famous White temple or locally known as Wat Rong Koon, which built by Chalermchai Kositpipat, the famous artist in Thailand. The highlights of the temple are its architecture style painted in all white color and the arts show in the gallery inside the temple. 

Visit the Blue temple or Wat Rong Suer Ten, another famous temple with the beautiful sculpture related to Buddhism which all painted in Blue color. Transfer to hotel in Chiang Rai, have an optional dinner. Optional to visit Chiang Rai night market by local public transport.

Remarks : Please bring hats, sun lotion and insect repellent and wear appropriate dress for temple visit.

Have an included breakfast at hotel. Transfer to visit Baan Dam museum, the famous attraction in Chiangrai. Enjoy walking around the private art museum comprising a mixture of traditional Northern Thai buildings and unconventional and contemporary architecture designed by the famous artist “Mr. Thawan Datchanee”. 

Continue to Golden Triangle in Chiang Saen district, the border area among Thailand, Myanmar and Laos (drive about 1 hour). The area used to be the opium trading area which once used gold for trading which then the area was called Golden Triangle. Enjoy the private boat tour along Mekong river, view the way of life of local people and the temple around 45 minutes. Visit Hall of opium, learn about the history of opium which used to be traded in Golden Triangle in the past. Have an optional lunch and continue to visit Wat Phra That Pha Ngao, the famous temple in Chiang Saen, optional to visit the skywalk

Return to hotel in Chiang Rai by private transport. Optional to visit night market by local public transport and have an optional dinner.

Have an included breakfast at hotel in Chiang Rai and check out. Transfer by private transport to Chiang Mai (drive about 3 hours), visit Wat Chedi Luang, the important temple in the old town of Chiangmai which built since 14th century. The highlights of the temple is the great stupa (around 98 metres or 282 feets) which used to enshrine the Emerald Buddha of Bangkok. 

Have an optional lunch at local restaurant. Then transfer to visit Doi Suthep Temple, must visit highlight of Chiangmai located on Doi Suthep Mountain. Walk up along the Naga stairways (around 300 steps) or use the cable car. Enjoy the view of Chiangmai and the beautiful Golden pagoda which is the highlight of the temple. Transfer to hotel in Chiang Mai for check in. Optional to visit night market by local public transport and optional dinner.

Have an included breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Doi Intanont National park by private transport. Visit the highest point of Thailand and enjoy walking along the famous nature trail “Angka”. Then visit the famous Twin pagodas, the famous attraction of Doi Intanont with the beautiful view and garden.

Continue to visit Baan Mae Klang Luang, the karen village and have an optional lunch. Then visit Mae Ya Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfall in Chiangmai. Return to hotel in Chiangmai, have an optional dinner.

Have an included breakfast at hotel in Chiangmai. Transfer to airport in Chiangmai by private car transport. Trip will be finished at the airport.
